About Me

Hello everyone,

My name is Sandiip Khanal and I'm a native of Nepal (Not to be confused, official spellings of my name is "Sandeep Khanal"). 

I completed secondary school in 2010, then I completed
an Advanced Diploma In Animation at Arena Multimedia,
Jamal, Kathmandu in 2013.

During my studies, I had the opportunity to work as a freelancer at Middleway Communication, Balkumari, Kathmandu (Dec 2012-Aug 2013) as a Video Editor and Animator. My major responsibility was to edit raw footages and create VFX/animation videos in a team.

After that, I began working for Music Nepal Pvt. Ltd. at Anamnagar, Kathmandu (Sep 2013-July 2014) as a video
editor and encoder. My key role was to edit and create music videos, promotional videos, and musical photo slide presentations (Graphic Animation). Furthermore, I was also responsible for encoding of videos in different online media platform like YouTube, IMI-Mobile and Music store.

In Jan 2013, I and my team participated in a competition of short film on the theme of "Wealth Creation" with Sketch animation (Cut-out Animation). This was short-listed on top ten list organized by The Chevening Alumni Association Nepal.

Then, I moved to Germany for my Bachelor Studies. I finished my University Preparation Course (Studienkolleg) from Mainz, Germany.

In December 2015, I received an “Honorable Mention” in a competition organized by International Cancer Research Fund.

I have been working since August 2016 as a Video Producer in a company called “Desoutter Tools”. I record and edit the videos for internal products and training.

In the 2017 winter semester, I enrolled at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, majoring in Media: Conception and Production.
