AutoDesk MAYA Experiment

Hello,

This post is to showcase my experiment with Maya Fluids and Particles. In this experimental video, I used Haze fluid, Maya Particles to explode, and Ocean shader for Ocean. My dearest friend Razen helped me for camera direction. I used Voronoi script and Maya shatter effects though it didn't produce what I really wanted in last shot.

This is just to showcase my ability and knowledge in Maya software. It took me a month to render all that images sequences in Mental Ray renderer. The most painstaking process was to create explosion as my system was getting lag all that time so I reduced the render quality and other preferences to speed up my rendering process.

I used mental ray's physical sun and sky to give a clear background. The title part was created on After effects. And sound effects are from free stock website.

Though it is not complete show reel but this is the extreme I was able to create with my system.

My system's configuration is: i5 third generation, 16 GB RAM, 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 Graphics card and enough hard disk.

Software used: Autodesk Maya 2014, After effects CS6 and Premiere pro CS6.

Poly-Modelling

This is my modelling experiment with low poly in Maya. Reflection, refraction has been used. Leather map has been used for Seat cover.
